These Terms govern your use of the My Home Genius app and website. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
My Home Genius helps you scan and measure rooms, track maintenance, keep home records, get AI answers about your home, visualize remodels, and check roof and storm information. It is a planning and organization tool for your personal use.
Cost estimates, measurements, roof data, AI assistant answers, and remodel visualizations are rough planning aids, not professional advice, quotes, or guarantees. They can be inaccurate. Always confirm with a qualified professional before making decisions, purchases, or repairs, and before acting on anything involving safety (for example, electrical panels, gas, structural work, or water shutoffs).
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you add. You keep ownership of your home records and photos. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content to provide the app’s features (including sending photos to our AI providers when you use those features), as described in our Privacy Policy.
Don’t misuse the app: no unlawful use, no uploading content you don’t have the right to use, no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Some features may require a paid plan. Pricing and what’s included are shown before you purchase. Subscriptions made through the App Store are billed and managed by Apple under its terms, including auto-renewal and cancellation. Because AI features have real per-use costs, any “premium” plan may include reasonable fair-use limits, which we’ll disclose.
The app uses third-party services (such as Apple, Google, Anthropic, Replicate, and roofing partners) to deliver certain features. Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or any professional you engage through a referral.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or result is accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Home Genius will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on estimates, AI output, or other information from the app.
We may update the app and these Terms over time; material changes will be noted by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app. You may stop using the app at any time, and we may suspend access for violations of these Terms.
